Le LAAS - Laboratoire d’Analyse et d’Architecture des Systèmes

The LAAS-CNRS is the 2nd largest French photovoltaics laboratory . It is currently undertaking Research on system optimization and yield (converters and chargers)

Objective : extract 100% of energy from solar panels. A unique innovative approach in collaboration with Total SA

The EMAC Research Complex

3 research centers - 210 people among which the RAPSODEE Research Center  (85 persons), a joint laboratory between the National Center for Scientific Research  (CNRS) and the Ecole des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux  (EMAC), specialized in :

  • industrial processes for treating particulate solids
  • energetic and environmental efficiency of processes and buildings
  • valorisation of solid wastes and biomass
  • Renewable energies (biomass and solar energy)
