A certain number of organizations may intervene through capital investment including: IRDI (Regional Institute for Industrial Development in Midi-Pyrenees):
MPC (Midi-Pyrenees Creation) invests in the capital of companies less than 10 years old, or in the case of transfer or succession, in amounts ranging from 15 K€ and 75 K€, for the first operation and may make several investments totaling 150 K€.
SOCRI (Inter-regional Venture Capital Company) backs innovative companies in industry or those providing services to industry. They must be located in Midi-Pyreness or Aquitaine (Bordeaux region) and be less than 7 years old. Total investments vary from 150 K€ to 1 M€ per company, through co-investment.
FAM (Midi-Pyrenees Start-up fund) the FAM’s purpose is to participate in the capital of start-up companies in innovative fields. Depending on the company's needs, and its location, FAM intervention can range from 15 to 400 K€.
OSEO bdpme may also contribute to capital as a co-investor through its subsidiary Avenir Entreprises. This subsidiary invests amounts between 150 K€ and 2.3 million Euros. OSEO anvar invests in shareholders’ equity in the form of stock warrants, to assist innovative projects with high growth potential. The participative start-up loan provides a relay while establishing an investment pool: limited to companies less than three years old. The amount ranges from 50 to 150 K€. The OSEO anvar attributes the "Innovative Business" label in the case of FCPI financing (common fund for investment in innovation). In this field, certain organizations work only in specific geographic areas: SOFIREM (Tarn): financial institution to favor the industrialization of mining regions
SORID (Aveyron): Society for the reindustrialization of the Decazeville basin
