Education
Toulouse is the leading university city in France outside of Paris. With 114,000 students, Midi-Pyrenees offers, in aeronautics and space, a wide choice of educational programs (secondary, university, and on-going training) including courses for skilled workers, secondary schools with specialized aeronautics curricula, prestigious engineering schools, and training courses directly related to operation, maintenance and sales of specific aerospace products.
The programs offered in Midi-Pyrenees cover the full range of needs for the aeronautics sector. Over 1600 engineering and management degrees and some 3000 other university-level degrees in fields related to aeronautics and space are awarded each year in our region. In addition, more than 6000 students receive secondary and post-secondary technical diplomas in technologies subjects.
An educational environment unlike any other in France and Europe:
- 3 Grandes Ecoles (engineering, schools) train 75% of the engineers in France’s Aerospace Engineering Schools Group
