Driven by the need to optimize costs and reduce lead times, intra-sector relationships have developed, providing technological responses to meet prime contractors’ requirements and expectations. 

In aeronautics, for primary load bearing structures, composite materials are ideal, thanks to their performance, low weight, reliability, longevity and flexibility in shaping.

With the A380 , for the first time in the history of aeronautics, the center box will be built entirely of carbon fiber , contributing to reducing the aircraft’s weight by one ton.
