With almost 3 000 jobs created by inward foreign investments, Midi-Pyrenees became the 3rd most attractive Region in France.
On 21 March 2012 the French Agency for International Investments (AFII) published its tables for job-creating foreign investment in France in 2011. This showed that Midi-Pyrenees became the 3rd most attractive Region in France with the highest ever number of jobs created by foreign investors in this region.
Since 2000 Midi-Pyrenees has always ranked amongst the top 5 of France’s most attractive regions.
With 41 projects creating, or maintaining, 2 994 jobs, our region ranks just below the l’Ile-de-France (Paris) and Rhône-Alpes (Lyon) regions.
